1. Introduction

Welcome to Interior My Room (referred to as the Company, We, Us, or Our).
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, design consultations, interior services, manufacturing services, installation, and all related deliverables.
By using our website or availing our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using our services immediately.

2. Definitions

For clarity, the following terms apply.

  • Client or You refers to any person or entity using our services.
  • Project refers to the interior design and execution work carried out for the client.
  • Design Deliverables refers to all drawings, plans, renders, and documents created for the project.
  • Site refers to the physical property where the project work will be executed.
  • Vendor or Manufacturing Partner refers to third parties who support the project with materials or services.

3. Scope of Services

Interior My Room provides design and execution services. These include but are not limited to:

3.1 Design Services

  • Space planning
  • 2D drawings and 3D renders
  • Concept creation
  • Material selection and specification
  • Documentation of design
  • Limited revisions as per the chosen design package

3.2 Execution Services

  • Modular and custom-built furniture
  • Carpentry work
  • Painting, wallpaper, or surface finishing
  • Electrical modifications
  • Plumbing modifications
  • False ceiling work
  • Installation and final finishing
  • Coordination with suppliers and installers

3.3 Services Not Included

Unless specifically mentioned in your quotation, the following are not part of the project.

  • Deep cleaning
  • Waterproofing
  • Structural changes
  • Electrical load upgrades
  • Soft furnishings, décor items, or appliances
  • Repairs involving third party contractors
  • Additional charges apply if these services are requested.

4. Site Conditions and Responsibilities

4.1 Responsibilities of the Client

The client must ensure the following.

  • Access to the site during working hours
  • Water and electricity availability
  • Necessary society or building approvals
  • Accurate information during discussions
  • Safe storage of delivered materials up to installation

4.2 Responsibilities of the Company

Interior My Room will do the following.

  • Conduct site visits based on agreed terms
  • Follow approved designs and specifications
  • Maintain quality standards
  • Coordinate suppliers and technicians

If unforeseen site issues are found, such as dampness, uneven walls, or electrical faults, additional time or cost may be required.

5. Design Deliverables

  • All visual representations are illustrative and may differ from actual materials or finishes.
  • Colors, textures, and lighting effects shown in renders may vary once installed.
  • Final measurements are taken before production.
  • Any design changes requested after approval will affect cost and timeline.

6. Material Selection and Availability

  • All materials are subject to availability.
  • If a selected product is discontinued or unavailable, we will provide an alternative with similar quality and pricing.
  • Imported or premium materials may have longer lead times.

7. Project Timelines

Project timelines depend on several factors.
Site readiness

  • Timely client approvals
  • Material availability
  • Vendor schedules
  • External factors such as holidays or local regulations

Delays caused by building approvals, government rules, lockdowns, or external contractors are not the responsibility of the Company. Revised timelines will be shared if needed.

8. Payments and Billing

8.1 Payment Structure

Work begins only after the booking amount is received.
A standard project follows stage based payments for design, production, installation, and final handover.

8.2 Payment Terms

All payments must follow the agreed schedule.

  • Delayed payments will automatically pause work and extend timelines.
  • Quotations are valid for a limited period, usually 15 to 30 days.
  • Taxes apply as per government regulations.

8.3 Refunds

Design fees are non refundable.

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once production begins.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will follow the Company’s internal policy.

9. Revisions and Extra Work

9.1 Revisions

Design packages include a limited number of revisions. Additional revisions will incur extra charges.

9.2 Changes During Execution

If the client requests changes after production or installation begins, the following will apply.

  • Extra charges for modifications
  • Revised timelines

10. Warranty

Warranty is provided as per manufacturer guidelines.
Warranty covers furniture structure and certain hardware components.

Warranty does not cover the following.

  • Damage caused by misuse or incorrect handling
  • Water or moisture damage
  • Pest damage
  • Natural wear and tear
  • Damage caused by third party contractors

11. Quality and Installation

  •  Installation is carried out by trained professionals.
  • Minor adjustments or touch ups are part of the standard handover.
  • Deep cleaning is not included after the installation process.

12. Cancellation Policy

  • Booking amount and design fees are not refundable.
  • Orders for customized products cannot be cancelled after manufacturing starts.
  • If cancellation occurs after design approval but before production, only unused manufacturing costs may be refundable.

13. Intellectual Property

  • All designs, documents, and renderings created by Interior My Room remain our intellectual property.
  • Clients cannot share our designs with external vendors without written permission.
  • Unauthorized usage will be treated as a breach of terms.

14. Limitation of Liability

Interior My Room is not responsible for the following.

  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Delays caused by third party contractors or building restrictions
  • Damages due to inaccurate information provided by the client
  • Loss of materials stored at the site without proper protection

Our maximum liability will not exceed the total fee paid for the specific service.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts located in the client’s city or the company’s operating city, whichever is applicable.
